Holiday Art Tour Guidelines
In 2005 a group of Fulton County artists banded together to hold the first holiday art tour (HAT). The purpose of the tour was to increase awareness of the arts in Fulton County by giving the public a view of the artists’ studios and how they worked. The artists also wanted to promote other artists, holiday shopping and tourism in Fulton County. The success of this first tour encouraged the artists to make the tour an annual event. The tour has been well attended by not only Fulton County Residents, but also resident from surrounding counties.

2011 Board Committee established. Board Members are as follows: Braxton Eikenberry, Barb Lutterbein, Gail Karas and Pat Thompson.
Beginning 2011 all artists and locations must be juried. This is not an Art and Craft Show but an Art Tour that consists of fine art. Fine arts commonly include the visual art and performing art forms, such as painting, sculpture, collage/assemblage, installation, calligraphy, music, dance, theatre, architecture, photography, conceptual art, and printmaking.
The artists and locations will be set by the board that consists of the original HAT members, Barb Lutterbein, Braxton Eikenberry, Gail Karas and Pat Thompson. The board has set a limit to 5 locations that must reside in Fulton County.
Each participating artists will be asked to submit an entry fee of $35.00, live in Fulton County and any of the surrounding counties that touch Fulton County (Pulaski, Starke, Marshall, Kosciusko, Wabash, Miami and Cass) and submit samples of their work. The entry deadline will be the 1st of September. Any artists that are not selected to participate in this year’s tour you will receive your entry fee back. There is a limited number of artists that can be accepted.
Each host (person responsible for location) and committee member will be responsible with helping out with the tasks to make HAT a success. There will be stops in Rochester and in Akron to place multiple artists at each location. Participating artists are required to be present at the show. 2011 Holiday Art Tour Entry Form
The Fulton County Holiday Art Tour is now accepting applications for its annual Fine Arts Show and Sale. To keep the quality and standards high for the show, it will be a juried event. Artists wishing to participate should send (3 or 4) current photos of their work for jury. Along with photos, a $35 booth fee and S.A.S.E. should be included. Photos and decisions of the jury will be returned in S.A.S.E. Booth fee checks of those not accepted will be included with returned photos. This is a fine art show with limited spaces.
Send good, clear photos and make sure they represent the work you plan to show.
